OPENING PRAYER:  Jehovah Rapha, the Great healer, we pray you to heal our land according to 2 Chronicles 7:13 & 14. (If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.) We have a pestilence and as a pest it has ravaged nations. We pray you act speedily for the sake of your people. In Jesus Name – Amen!

WELCOME: You are all welcome to the service of today, though held in your homes in keeping with the directives of the state and National leadership as a preventive means to curb the spread of COVID-19, God’s word must be preached, “in season and out of season”. 2 Timothy 4:2

MESSAGE: Main thought: The Power in the blood of Jesus

                      Scriptures: Exodus 12:13; Ephesians 2:13.

The idea of the power or efficacy in the blood of Jesus stems from the Old Testament, you recall that when man sinned and became ashamed God killed an animal, spilled the blood, and used the skins to clothe them. In the book of Exodus as quoted above, the Israelites were to sprinkle the blood of animals killed on their lintels or door posts for the angel to pass over them. It actually saved the situation, the Egyptians however died. The blood of Jesus according to Ephesians 2:13 has brought us closer to God and still acts as a protection over our lives.

The blood of Jesus saves.

The blood of Jesus heals.

 The blood of Jesus protects from danger.

The blood of Jesus is a seal-through the covenant.

The blood of Jesus is stronger than Covid-19 and will flush out its power- Hallelujah!!!

If you are therefore saved and covered by the blood of Jesus. You are protected in the name of Jesus. Don’t fear COVID, fear itself torments. May the Lord give you much understanding- In Jesus Name!
